When Shift’s Founder and CEO, Spencer Sheinin, was asked permission by an employee (in one of his previous businesses) to order toilet paper, he knew the issues in his business went beyond a potential TP shortage. 

This seemingly innocent, albeit ridiculous question (who says no to ordering more toilet paper?!)uncovered some deep reflection and was the catalyst for his organization.
