OBJECTIVE: To Crush It and exceed client expectations during the onboarding process by leading the diagnostic review, onboarding planning, and implementation of accounting processes.

You’re excited to be the bridge between the entrepreneur and accounting, delivering your clients intuitive, meaningful information in a way that the entrepreneur can easily understand and use. You love the stories that numbers tell and you’re great at sharing those stories.
You get fired up by the idea of making a huge impact for your clients.
You have a visceral reaction to the phrase “crushing it”, as you don’t think something is worth doing unless you’re going to do a truly exceptional job.
You love collaborating with internal teams and clients.
You are an exceptional communicator and relationship builder.
- Provide direction and oversight to the Onboarding Bookkeeper team member(s) responsible for all spring-cleaning projects
- Execute on onboarding plan, including rolling out new processes and systems accordingly
- Full balance sheet reconciliation in Lighthouse
- Accounting conversions as required
- Service Titan and QBO reconciliation via Rec Buddy
- Ensure a smooth hand-off between the Onboarding Team and the Ongoing Team, ensuring expectations are clear and that nothing “falls through the cracks.”
- Creation and updates to client and internal P&Ps such as balance sheet reconciliation, payroll, month end accruals, 3rd party applications and other P&P’s as required
- In collaboration with the Ongoing Controller, ensure Onboarding is completed within the agreed-upon timeframe with the client.
- 5+ years of full-cycle accounting expense
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven experience providing exceptional service to client base
- Private home office and all necessary tools to work remotely
