Meet the accountant that understands entreprenuers
He is the Founder and CEO of Shift Financial Insights, which makes accounting NOT SUCK for businesses on the rise. He is also the best-selling author of Entreprenumbers: The Surprisingly Simple Path to Financial Clarity, a sought after keynote speaker and TEDx speaker.
Spencer is a former instructor for the Chartered Professional Accountants of B.C. (taking a break due to time commitments). He has been a (hyper)active member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization since 2005 having previously served as Chair for Canada and President in Vancouver.
Spencer is passionate about endurance sports and has completed several marathons, ultra-marathons (as far as 100 m / 162 km), Iron man, distance cycling events, and a marathon distance swim. Not surprisingly, both endurance sports and building a business require a ton of blood, sweat and tears.
